The wilting pattern (痿證) due to damp-heat (濕熱之氣).

Wilting pattern (痿證) is caused by the dampness and heat of the spring and summer season.

The treatment for this is to use Qingzao Tang (清燥湯).

[Tension of the sinews and Slack sinews 筋急筋緩]

The Inner Canon states: "When damp-heat does not disperse, the large tendons become short and tense, while the small tendons become loose and long. Short and tense tendons lead to stiffness and contractions, while loose and long tendons result in a wilting symptom." The annotation explains that the large tendons contract and become short when exposed to heat, while the small tendons become pulled and lengthened in damp conditions. Short and tense tendons cause stiffness and contractions because they cannot extend, while loose and long tendons cause weakness and lack of strength due to their inability to contract.
