One woman who is 35 years
old and goes to work. She has a severe fatigue. She is thin and a little bit
black complextion. Anyway I give her Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang (modified). She took
this two times a day during about 20 days. At first time she said that she
feels better. But at the end of time, she came to my clinic, and she said that “she
feels sudden dizzy and tinnitus few times”. At that time I realized that I should
give her Liu Wei Di Huang Tang (六味地黃湯) family. So I gave her 6 packs of 荊防地黃湯
which is modified from Liu Wei Di Huang Tang, I reduces 8 g of Shan Zhu Yu to 2
g and add 4 g of Gou Qi Zi (枸杞子). And the signs of
dizziness and tinnitus removed.
Due to kidney water deficiency,
deficient fire ascends upward, but I gave Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang, this makes the
upper part more replete. Than dizziness and tinnitus occurs.

this formula actually actually works in greater yang
and lesser yin. greater yang and lesser yin is exteriorly-interioly related.
If someone has kidney water deficiency pattern with
greater yang pattern, 荊防地黃湯 is better than liu wei di huang
tang. I also often used this formula skin disease as acne, and lung disease
with kidney water deficiency pattern. Some times this also has a effect on
uterine bleeding, generally this works when the bleeding is not severe and does
not need for lots of pad. Some one said bleeding happens when she works at
night. She manages store. As you know, when treating urination or utrerine
problem (menstruation or vaginal discharge), one should also check not only kidney(bladder)
but also lung which is the source of water (水之上源)
