 1. Xiao Chai Hu Tang (Chai Hu, Huang Qin, Ban Xia, Ren Shen, Sheng Jiang, Da Zao, Gan Cao)

☯ a pulse that is string-like, alternating aversion to cold and heat effusion, suffering from fullness in the chest and rib-side, taciturnity with no desire for food or drink, heart vexation and frequent retching, bitter taste in the mouth, white fur on the tongue, hard glomus below the heart

 

1. 小柴胡湯 (柴胡 黃芩 半夏 人蔘 生薑 大棗 甘草)

柴胡桂枝湯證보다 心下痞가 적고, 嘔逆이 없으며, 動悸 渴 小便不利한 者

 

 6. Da Chai Hu Tang (Xiao Chai HuTang ⊖Ren Shen, Gan Cao ⊕ Shao Yao, Zhi Shi, Da Hung)

☯ a pulse that is sunken and replete, alternating aversion to cold and heat effusion, suffering from fullness in the chest and rib-side, depression and mild vexation, distress below the heart, hypertonicity of musculus rectus abdominis, fullness in the chest and abdomen, constipation

 

6. 大柴胡湯 (小柴胡湯 ⊖人蔘 甘草 ⊕芍藥 枳實 大黃)

☯脈沈實 寒熱往來 胸脇苦滿 鬱鬱微煩 心下急 腹直筋攣急 胸腹滿 便秘
