 1. Da Cheng Qi Tang (Da Hung, Mang Xiao, Hou Po, Zhi Shi)

☯ a pulse that is sunken and replete, tightness and fullness around the umbilicus, dry stool, absence of aversion to cold, and instead, presence of aversion to heat, tidal heat effusion, sweat streaming from the extremities, delirious speech, fullness in the chest and abdomen

 

1. 大承氣湯 (大黃 芒硝 厚朴 枳實)

☯脈沈實 臍周圍緊滿 燥屎 不惡寒反惡熱 潮熱 手足濈然汗出 譫言 胸腹滿

 

 2. Xiao Cheng Qi Tang (Da Cheng Qi Tang ⊖ Mang Xiao)

☯ in the pattern of Da Cheng Qi Tang, there is absece of dry stool. Abdominal fullness, a pulse that is rapid.

 

2. 小承氣湯 (大承氣湯 ⊖芒硝)

☯大承氣湯證에서 緊滿이 적고, 燥屎가 없다. 腹滿 脈數

 

*3. Hou Po San Wu Tang (Xiao Cheng Qi Tang ⊕ Hou Po)

☯ in the pattern of Xiao Cheng Qi Tang, abdominal fullness is severe.

☯ stagnant qi between the heart and chest, indigestion after eating of raw fish.

*11. Da Hung Mu Dan PiTang (Da Hung, Mang Xiao, Dong Gua Zi, Tao Ren, Mu Dan Pi)

☯ swelling and glomus in the lower abdomen, pain when pressure is applied, stool with blood and pus, pain in the lower right side from the umbilicus when pressure is applied, intestinal abscess, heat effusion, aversion to cold, constipation

 

11. 大黃牧丹皮湯 (大黃 芒硝 冬瓜子 桃仁 牧丹皮)

☯小腹腫痞 按之則痛 膿血便 臍右下壓痛 腸癰 發熱 惡寒 便秘

 

*12. Xia Yu Xue Tang (Da Hung, Tao Ren, Zhe Chong)

☯toxin and pain below the umbilicus, inhibited mestruation, static blood and pain below the umbilicus, constipation, vexation and fullness.

☯臍下毒痛 經水不利 臍下瘀血疼痛 便秘 煩滿

 

 13. Di Dang Tang (Da Hung, Tao Ren, Shui Zhi, Meng Chong)

☯ a pulse that is sunken, hardness and fullness in the lesser abdomen, uninhibited urination, static blood, the person as manic, and exterior pattern.

 

13. 抵當湯 (大黃 桃仁 水蛭 虻蟲)

☯脈沈 小腹硬滿 小便自利 陳舊瘀血 其人如狂 表證

 

 14. Di Dang Wan (Shui Zhi, Meng Chong, Tao Ren, Da Hung)

☯the pattern of Di Dang Tang ⊕ lesser abdomen fullness, absence of manic pattern and exterior pattern.

 

14. 抵當丸 (水蛭 虻蟲 桃仁 大黃)

 15. Shi Zao Tang (Yuan Hua, Gan Sui, Da Ji, Da Zao)

☯ glomus, hardness, and fullness below the heart, and pain extending the rib-side, dry retching, shortness of breath, sweating, and absence of aversion to cold.

 

15. 十棗湯 (芫花 甘遂 大戟 大棗)

☯心下痞硬滿 引脇下痛 乾口 短氣 汗出 不惡寒者

 

 16. Da Xian Xiaon Tang (Da Hung, Mang Xiao, Gan Sui)

☯ a pulse that is sunken and tight, sweat issuing only from the head, stiff neck and nape, hardness, fullness, and pain, [extending] from below the heart and to the lesser abdomen, constipation, heat effusion

 

16. 大陷胸湯 (大黃 芒硝 甘遂)

☯脈沈緊 頭汗出 頸項强 心下至少腹硬滿而痛 便秘 發熱

 

 17. Da Xian Xiong Wan (Da Hung, Mang Xiao, Gan Sui, Ting Li, Xing Ren)

☯ the pattern of Da Xian Xiong Tang ⊕ absence of heat effusion, hard fullness below the heart, nape stiffness as in soft tetany.

17. 大陷胸丸 (大黃 芒硝 甘遂 葶藶 杏仁)

 18. Xiao Xian Xiong Tang (Huang Lian, Ban Xia, Guo Lou Shi)

☯胸中苦悶 心下部痞塞感 脈浮滑

☯wheezing dyspnea, panting, fullness in the chest, edema.

☯喘鳴迫塞 胸滿强急 喘 胸滿 浮腫

 

*20. Da Hung Xiao Shi Tang (Da Hung, Xiao Shi, Huang Bai, Zhi Zi)

☯generalized yellowing, inhibited urination(yellow urine), tightness and fullness around the umbilicus.

 

*20. 大黃硝石湯 (大黃 硝石 黃栢 梔子)

☯發黃 小便不利(小便黃) 臍周圍緊滿

 

*21. Da Hung Gan Sui Tang (Da Hung, Gan Sui, E Jiao)

☯ fullness in the lower abdomen, slight dysuria, irregular menstruation.

☯小腹滿如敦狀 小便微難 經水不調
