1-3. yellow vaginal discharge 黃帶下
A woman has a vaginal discharge with yellow
color. This is thick as juice of yellow tea and has a fish-like smell. This is
called yellow vaginal discharge. Generally yellow vaginal discharge is due to damp-heat
in the conception vessel. Originally, the conception vessel cannot retain
water. How can damp qi enter conception vessel and then transform into yellow
vaginal discharge？ Belt vessel connects to conception
vessel, conception vessel directly ascend and runs to lips and teeth, incessant
spring between lips and teeth penetrate downward into conception vessel and
then transforms into essence, if conception vessel does not take derangement of
heat qi, the fluids and humors in the mouth can transform into essence and
enter the kidney. But if heat evil exists in the lower buerner, the fluids and
humors cannot transform into essence, instead transforms into damp. Generally damp
is the qi of earth and sunken water. Heat is the qi of fire and is generated by
wood qi. The color of water is originally black and fire is red. Now, damp is
going to combine with heat and has a desire to transform into red, but it is
unable, and has a desire to return into black, it is also uable. Boiled damp
transforms into juice and the color becomes yellow. This means that [the qi]
does not transform through water-fire but through damp. Therefore people considers
that yellow vaginal discharge is due to 脾의 damp-heat
and treats only the spleen, this does not work. They do not know that true
water combining true fire surround conception vessel and uterus with
transforming into the color of 鈴色. How can one control
this by only treating of the spleen. One should supplement the deficiency of conception
vessel and clear of kidney fire, then recover occurs. Yi Huang Tang ( Benefit
the Yellow [Discharge] Decoction, 易黃湯) is used.

water. taking of four Ji (劑) in succession
brings about recover. This formula is not only for treating of yellow vaginal
discharge. Every one with vaginal discharge disease can be treated with this
formula. Anyway this formula is good at yellow vaginal discharge. Generally Shan Yao and Qian
Shi only supplenmt the deficiency of conception
vessel and can disinhibits water. Bai Guo can be added to conduct the other
herbs to enter conception vessel, this speeds up the rapid of effect. Huang Bai clears the fire in the kidney, the
kidney and conception vessel help each other and intercommunicate. Therefore resolving
of the fire in the kidney is to resolve the heat of conception vessel. Does vaginal
discharge pattern related with spleen damp a lot? If in the initial stage of vaginal
discharge there is absence of heat, only supplementing of spleen earth with
rectifying the qi of thoroughfare and conception vessel will bring about spontaneous
recover. If enduring damp engenders heat, definitely after kidney fire is
cleared, then damp can be removed. Shan Yao
and Qian Shi can clear heat and engender the
fluids and humor.
